How to Change Google Account and Google Merchant Center ID in our App for Shopify Store?
In this video, we’ll walk you through the process of changing your Google account and the Google Merchant Center ID in the Simprosys Google Shopping Feed app.
The video will guide you through essential steps such as updating your linked Google account, selecting the appropriate Merchant Center ID, and ensuring a smooth transition by verifying domain ownership and shipping settings.
When to Change:
- If your Merchant Center is managed by a third party and you no longer work with them.
Before You Start:
- Claim your domain, set up shipping, and link your Merchant Center to Google Ads.
- Enable Shopping ads, Dynamic Remarketing, and Free Listings in the Merchant Center.
Steps to Change Merchant Center ID:
- Open Simprosys Google Shopping Feed App → Go to Integrations → Click Change Account.
- Select your email → Sign in → Accept permissions.
- Choose the Merchant Center ID → Confirm and continue.
- The app will verify the domain and shipping settings before finalizing the update.
For Multi-Client Accounts (MCA):
- Select Change Merchant ID → Choose MCA and the correct sub-account → Confirm.
