Terms & Condition for Social Media Autopublish
1. Overview of Auto Publish Feature
The Auto Publish feature allows merchants to automatically post customer reviews collected via Proviews to their connected social media accounts, including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and X (formerly Twitter).
2. Merchant Responsibilities
By using the Auto Publish feature, you agree to the following:
Content Review & Compliance
- You are responsible for ensuring the posted reviews comply with Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and X community guidelines.
- You must review and moderate content before posting to avoid violating social media policies.
Review Content Limit
As per social media platform policies, the content of reviews will not exceed the threshold set by social media platforms. The post content limit is
- Twitter: 280 characters; an image uses 23 characters, leaving 257 for text.
- Pinterest: Pin descriptions can have up to 500 characters regardless of images.
- Facebook: Posts can include up to 63,206 characters; images don’t affect this limit.
- Instagram: Captions are limited to 2,200 characters, regardless of images.
- We will not auto-publish reviews on social media whose content limit is beyond the platform’s threshold value.
Prohibited Content
Reviews containing the following will not be posted using Auto Publish:
- Vulgar, obscene, or sexually explicit language.
- Hate speech, threats, or abusive language.
- Harassment, discrimination, or defamation of any individual or group.
- False, misleading, or deceptive statements.
- Personally identifiable information (e.g., emails, phone numbers, addresses).
- Spam, promotions, or self-advertising content.
- Any content that violates the Terms of Service of the connected social media platform.
Restricted & Illegal Content
Merchants must not post reviews that promote or contain references to:
- Illegal activities, drugs, or substance abuse.
- Copyrighted or trademarked materials without authorization.
- Weapons, violence, or criminal behavior.
- Gambling, adult content, or other restricted industries.
3. Compliance with Social Media Platform Policies
Merchants must adhere to the official guidelines of the respective platforms:

If your post violates any of these guidelines, your account may be flagged, restricted, or suspended by the respective social media platform.
4. Liability & Indemnification
- Proviews is not responsible for any consequences, penalties, or actions taken by social media platforms due to content posted using Auto Publish.
- Merchants assume full responsibility for the content posted on their connected accounts.
- You agree to indemnify and hold Proviews harmless from any claims, damages, or legal actions arising from the use of the Auto Publish feature.
5. Moderation & Enforcement
- We reserve the right to temporarily or permanently disable Auto Publish for accounts violating these terms.
- If flagged content is detected, we may suspend your access to this feature without prior notice.
- Merchants are encouraged to manually review and moderate content before auto-posting.
6. Disabling Auto Publish
- Merchants can disable Auto Publish anytime from their app settings.
- Disabling this feature does not affect previously posted content.
7. Updates to Terms
- These Terms and Conditions may be updated periodically.
- Continued use of the Auto Publish feature constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.
