How to Connect Klaviyo with Proviews: Setup Guide

Overview

The Klaviyo integration allows you to sync your store's review and Q&A data directly with your Klaviyo account. Once connected, you can build highly targeted email campaigns based on real customer feedback, automate post-review follow-ups, and improve retention, all from within Klaviyo's familiar interface.

Step-by-Step Setup Guide

Step 1: Go to the Klaviyo Integration Section

1. In Proviews, navigate to Settings → Integrations.

2. Click the Manage button on the Integrations tab.

3. Locate the Klaviyo card and click its Manage button

Step 2 – Authenticate Your Klaviyo Account'

Proviews offers two ways to connect your Klaviyo account. Choose the method that works best for you:

Option A — OAuth Authentication

Click Connect under "Authentication via OAuth".
You will be redirected to Klaviyo's secure login page.
Authorize the connection — no API key required.
Once authorized, you'll be returned to Proviews automatically.

Option B — API Key Authentication

Copy your Private API Key from your Klaviyo account settings.
Paste it into the "Connect via API Key" input field in Proviews.
Click Verify to establish the connection.

Tip: OAuth is the simpler and more secure option — it doesn't require you to manage or rotate API keys manually.

Step 3 – Configure Sync Settings

Setting	Description	Recommended Value
Choose List	Select the Klaviyo audience list where review and Q&A data will be synced.	Select your primary customer list
Select Customer Type	Choose whether to sync customers who submitted Reviews, Q&A responses, or both.	Both (for full coverage)
Include Old Customers?	When toggled ON, previously collected review data will also be added to Klaviyo, not just new submissions going forward.	Turn On (for historical data)
Include Customers With Unverified Reviews?	When toggled ON, customers whose reviews are pending verification will also be included in the sync.	Based on your preference

Once your selections are made, click Save to apply the settings and begin syncing.

End-to-End Integration Flow

Disconnecting the Integration

You can disconnect Klaviyo from Proviews at any time. Go to Settings → Integrations → Klaviyo → Manage and click the Disconnect button. Your existing Klaviyo data will not be deleted — only future syncing will stop.

Note: Disconnecting will immediately stop all data syncing. Reconnecting later will require you to re-configure your sync settings.

Data Sync Behavior

Data syncs periodically based on your saved settings — no manual action required after setup.
New reviews and Q&A responses are automatically pushed to your selected Klaviyo list.
You can return to the integration settings at any time to update your preferences or change the target list.
Toggling off the integration pauses syncing without removing your configuration.
