Example Email Feature
The Example Email feature lets you preview how emails appear to customers before activating them. Use this to test layout, formatting, and dynamic content. Example emails do not reach customers until you save and activate the template.
Usage Limit: Each store receives a lifetime allowance of 5 sample emails. Contact our Support team if you need additional test emails.

Review Request Email Templates
Proviews offers two review request email template types. Choose the one that best fits your customer engagement strategy.
- Template Types:
Review Form Template: Embeds a review submission form directly inside the email. Customers submit feedback without leaving their inbox, which typically improves response rates.

Review Link Template: Includes a clickable link that redirects customers to the product page on your store, where they submit a review.

- Email Subject:
The subject line determines whether customers open your email. Keep it clear, friendly, and relevant.
Example Subject Line:
Your purchase of [!order_quantity!] x [!product_title!] has been delivered. Please share your feedback.
Important: Use only supported system parameters (e.g., [!product_title!]). Unsupported or custom parameters will not resolve correctly.
- Email Body
supports text formatting, images, links, emojis, and HTML. Certain parameters are mandatory depending on the template type.
Mandatory Parameters — Review Form Template

| [!shop_name!] | Displays your store name as configured in Shopify |
| [!product_title!] | Displays the product name so customers can identify it clearly. |
| [!review_request_default_form!] | Embeds the review submission form directly in the email body |
Mandatory Parameters — Review Link Template

| [!product_url!] | Links directly to the product page where customers submit a review. |
| [!product_title!] | Displays the product name so customers can identify the item. |
Optional Parameters
Optional parameters personalize the email but are not required for delivery. Access them by clicking the subject line field to reveal the dropdown list.

| [!shop_logo!] | Displays your store logo at the top of the email for consistent branding. |
| [!buyer_name!] | Customer's full name. Use it to personalize greetings (e.g., "Hi Sarah,"). |
| [!n_days_ago!] | Shows days since order delivery (e.g., "7 days ago your order was delivered"). |
| [!order_quantity!] | Displays total item count in the order (e.g., "2 x Product Name"). |
- Email Preview
Use the Email Preview feature to verify layout, formatting, and dynamic content before activating a template. Preview confirms that customer names, product details, and review links render correctly.
Coupon Email Template
The Coupon Email sends automatically after customers submit a review. It rewards them with a discount code, encourages repeat purchases, and reinforces your brand identity.

- Mandatory Parameters

| [!shop_url!] | Your store's URL. Use it to add a "Shop Now" or "Visit Store" link. |
| [!shop_logo!] | Your store logo, automatically pulled from Shopify. |
| [!unsubscribe_url!] | Adds an unsubscribe link for email compliance. |
Other Email Notifications
- Respond to Review Notification
This email notifies customers when you respond to their product review. It builds trust, encourages engagement, and maintains clear communication.

Recipient Options
| Option | Description |
| To Reviewers | Send the notification to all customers who submitted a review. |
| To Reviewers (excluding blacklisted) | Excludes addresses on your blacklist — recommended to honor opt-outs |

This email notifies customers when you answer their product question. Configure the subject line, email body, and parameters to personalize the message.

This email asks customers to update or edit a previously submitted review. Customize the subject, body, and placeholders to match your brand voice.
