Step-by-Step Integration of Proviews - Product Reviews & QA App

Welcome! This guide walks you through setting up Proviews on your Shopify store. Follow these steps to start collecting customer reviews and displaying them on your product pages.
Integration Overview
Step 1 — Select Language & Theme
On first launch, Proviews prompts you to configure your preferences:
Choose Your Language:
Select your preferred admin panel language from the dropdown:
Available Languages: English (Default), Deutsch, Español, Français, Italiano, Nederlands, Português, Română, 日本語
Select Your Theme:
1. Choose the Shopify theme where you want Proviews installed — your current live theme or any theme from your library.
2. Click Next Step to continue.

Step 2 — Enable the App Embed & Add the Widget
This step activates Proviews on your theme and adds the review widget to your product pages.
Enable the App Embed:
1. Click Enable App Embed.
2. Shopify redirects you to Online Store → Themes → Customize → App Embeds.
3. The Proviews Snippet toggle activates automatically.
4. Click Save, then return to the Proviews Integration window.


Add the Widget to Your Product Page:
5. Click Open Shopify Theme Editor.
6. In the theme editor, select the Product template where the widget should appear.
7. In the left sidebar, click Add Section and select Proviews Widget.(This is an automated step and does not require any manual input.)
8. Drag the section to your preferred position on the page.
9. Click Save, then return to the Integration window.


Important: Save your changes after every action before moving to the next step. Unsaved changes will be lost.
Step 3 — Choose Your Widget Style
Select your preferred review display format: List, Grid, or Slider.
1. Select your preferred review display format: List, Grid, or Slider.
2. Toggle on the Q&A Widget to allow customers to ask product questions on the product page.
3. Click Next Step to continue.

Step 4 — Configure Review Request Emails
Set up automated emails to request reviews from customers after purchase:
1. Set the number of days after fulfillment or delivery before sending the first review request.
2. Choose whether to send reminder emails to customers who have not reviewed yet.
3. If enabled, set the number of follow-up emails and the interval between them.
4. Review the summary at the bottom to confirm all settings.
5. Click Finish to complete the setup.
