What does this mean for you?
- Your ads stand out with complete product specs.
- Customers find exactly what they're searching for and feel confident buying from you.
- You finally compete on the same level as enterprise brands.
Let's start with understanding
“What are Metafields?”
Metafields are custom data fields that store additional product information not covered by native platforms.
Examples:
- Material composition:"100% organic cotton"
- Product dimensions: 24" x 36" x 12"
- Care instructions: "Machine wash cold, tumble dry low"
Setting it up is refreshingly simple. Map your metafields once, and watch your product feeds transform across every platform automatically. Excited to learn how to do this in Simprosys Google Shopping Feed App, follow step by step instructions mentioned below

Managing Your Mappings
You can return to the Shopify Metafields Mapping interface anytime to edit or delete mapped metafields.

Best practice: Wait until the data sync completes before making any edits to ensure data integrity.
Important Note:
If the same "Product Feed Attribute" and "Shopify Metafield" are present in a draft and users enter the same information twice, the first draft will be replaced.
Troubleshooting Scenarios
"I don't see my Metafield in the dropdown"
- Verify the Metafield exists in Shopify
- Check that the namespace and key are correctly entered
- Ensure the Metafield has data for at least one product
- Try the "Re-sync Now" button to refresh available options
"My mapping shows as Draft but isn't working"
- Drafts must be applied
- Verify the Metafield key is spelled correctly (case-sensitive)
"Data isn't appearing in my product feeds"
- Allow up to 24 hours for feed regeneration after applying mappings
- Confirm the mapped products actually have data in the specified Metafield
- Check that the feed export includes the mapped attribute
