Getting Started with Voice Search in SearchGro

SearchGro’s Voice Search lets customers use voice commands to find products quickly, providing a hands-free and accessible shopping experience.
Improvements Include:
- Faster speech recognition, even in noisy environments.
- Better natural language understanding for conversational queries.
- Improved interface with a simple microphone button and real-time query display.
How to Enable Voice Search
Voice Search is available directly in the SearchGro app:
- Navigate to the Search tab.
- Click on your search widget.
- Go to Configuration.
- Find the Voice Search option and toggle it on to enable the feature.
- Save your changes to apply the setting.
Once enabled, customers can use voice commands to search for products.
FAQs
Q: Do all devices support voice search?
- No. Voice search requires a browser/device that supports speech recognition.
Q: What happens if a customer denies microphone permission?
- The feature won’t activate. Customers can still type queries normally.
Q: Does voice search support multiple languages?
- Yes. It works with your store’s language settings and can pair with SearchGro’s multi-language feature.
Q: Will voice search affect site speed?
- No. Voice search runs efficiently within the Search Widget without slowing down your store.

A sports store enables voice search:
- A customer on mobile taps the mic and says “red Nike running shoes size 9”.
- SearchGro instantly filters results to show only Nike shoes in size 9, red color.
Result → Faster discovery, fewer clicks, higher conversions.
