How to submit a feed for Multiple Countries from our app for the Shopline store?

This document outlines the process for submitting product feeds to multiple countries using the “Simprosys Google Shopping Feed” app for the Shopline store.

Please make a note of the below points while submitting feeds for multiple countries from our app:

  • Feed Submission and Store Language: The ability to submit feeds to multiple countries is determined by the default language selected for your store within the app settings.
  • Language and Country Compatibility: You can submit feeds for multiple countries where your store’s default language is supported. Ensure that the same language is used for all countries where you intend to submit feeds.
  • Supported Languages and Currencies: For more information on supported languages and currencies, refer to the official Google documentation: Google Merchant Center Supported Languages and Currencies.
  • Default Language Selection: Ensure that the app’s default language matches the language used to create your website. 

Steps to Submit Feeds for Multiple Countries:

  1. Access the App Settings: Navigate to Settings > Google Shopping Settings in the app dashboard, and check the default language of your store.

2. To submit feeds to additional countries, click on “Manage Additional Countries”.

3. Refer to the information provided before selecting additional countries to submit the feed.

4. You will find a list of countries that have the same language as your store. Select the countries you would like to add as additional countries.

5. Also, we recommend you submit only 2 additional countries at a time and wait for them to get approved. Then you can add other additional countries if you wish to.

6. Once the feed is submitted for the additional country then wait for 3-5 business days to get that feed approved if there are no errors on the products.

7. Also, keep in mind to set up the shipping and tax settings in Google Merchant Center for each additional country added.

Note: We do not charge additional fees to submit the feed for additional countries from our app.

Alternative Method for Submitting Feeds is via Google Merchant Center. But if you’re submitting additional countries through our app, please do not select the same country from Google Merchant Center as well.

Let’s understand how you can submit feeds to additional countries through Google Merchant Center.

Login to your Google Merchant Center account > Navigate to the right-side > Click on Settings icon  > Data Sources

The next page will show the “Content API” feed file > Click on the Actions symbol. Available options will be shown in a list. Now click on “Edit Countries”

Select the countries you want to add to the list.

After selecting the countries, you will be able to see the countries under the selected section and then proceed with “Save”.

You will not have to create any new feed, just by adding the additional country you will be able to submit the feed to that country as well.

Now, you would need to set up the shipping and tax settings separately in Google Merchant Center for the additional countries.
