Step by Step Integration of Bing Shopping Feed App



In this help doc, we will show how to step by step integrate of Bing Shopping feed App in your Shopify store.

Firstly, Microsoft Shopping Ads previously known as Bing Shopping Ads Product Listing Ads are only supported for the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, India, France and Germany.

If your store’s default content is in of any language like English, French, German as their native Language and store’s default currency as USD, GBP, AUD, CAD, INR or EUR then and then only you will be able to use our Bing Shopping Feed app for the submitting a feed to your Microsoft Merchant Center account.

In our app, we have set these restrictions. Because it is required such targeting countries.

Our app will be not able to work with translated content translated through any translation app. It will work with the default database content of Shopify only and not the content translated by any there app, or price is any currency converter app.

Step for the Bing Shopping Feed App installation   Search Bing Shopping Feed in your Shopify App Store.
Click on “Add App” (see attached screenshot)

Then tap on “Install App”, You are in the app now. And you will be asked to log in with your Microsoft account which you are using to manage your Microsoft Advertising Account.

Note: If you have multiple stores then you will have two different domains and by creating a separate Merchant Center account for each domain, you can run your Ads in the same Microsoft Advertising Account. So, make sure to select the right store.

Once you login then you will see the app’s interface and then you will have to select the Primary Targeted Country and Content-Language from the drop-down menu and then click on the “Confirm Target Market” button.

Then you have to choose your Microsoft Advertising and Microsoft Merchant Center store account from the dropdown list and then click on “Confirm your account” button.

Note: Primary Target Country in the App is determined based on your Store’s default currency.

Once you have successfully connected your Microsoft or Bing Merchant Center account you will reach our app’s interface. then sync settings from Shopify page will appear in which you will need to select an option for each and every setting which will help you submit feeds for your store as per your preference.

And then click on the “Save and Next Step” button after which you will reach the Bing Sync Settings Page.

Note: If your store is based in the United Kingdom, Australia, Germany and France then it is necessary to do the Tax Settings in the App. And the taxes are charged over the Product Price.

Referring to the Tax settings in our Shopify store by navigating to Settings option on the bottom left-hand side corner

You will have to do the same settings in the app based on the Tax that is applicable in your case depending upon the Primary Country you have.

And further you can do the settings for Sale Price, UTM Tags and choose the Product ID format as per your requirements. We have attached a video link for

Then click on the “Save and Next Step” button. then you will reach the final step which is “Sync Products Page” in which you will find the Total published products counts and notification email section.

The products with warnings or errors will be available in the Error section of our app.
Please note: Microsoft Merchant Center account can take up to 24 hours to show feed statistics and details in the Store Summary page.
So, you need to wait for 24 hrs for the Products to be submitted to Bing Merchant Center.

Then go to Microsoft Advertising, then go to Tools then go to Microsoft Merchant Center.
Note: Microsoft usually takes up to 3 business days to review and approve the newly submitted feed to the Merchant Center account.
